From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aroma of traditional spices that transport you straight to Central Asia. The décor? Think comfortable, laid-back, with touches of Uzbek flair. But let’s talk about the real star here—the food.

One of the crowd favorites at Chaykhana N1 Uzbek Cuisine is the Lamb Chop—tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. It's got that smoky, slightly charred edge that makes every bite unforgettable. Another must-try? The Dolma. These grape leaves are stuffed with spiced meat and rice, served warm, and wrapped up like little flavor bombs.

If you’re more into comfort food, the Russian Borshch is a cozy bowl of beet-based soup with a deep, tangy flavor. It’s especially great during colder months. For noodle lovers, the Kovurma Lagman Noodles bring in a rich and savory twist with stir-fried beef and vegetables, all tossed in chewy, hand-pulled noodles.

And of course, no Uzbek meal is complete without a refreshing side like the Olivier Salad—creamy, slightly tangy, and surprisingly filling.

So, whether you're new to Central Asian cuisine or just in the mood for something different, Chaykhana N1 Uzbek Cuisine is a hidden gem that brings traditional flavors to the Midwest with authenticity and heart.

Yes, please try this place! Started with the Samsa lamb appetizer. That is a must try and an amazing dish. The Manti appetizer was good, but next time I'll just order double Samsa :) We then moved to the chicken and beef kebabs... both very good too. The rice dish with lamb (Plov) was also very good as was the Shurpa soup. We'll get all of these again and probably not stray elsewhere on the menu because it was so good, but no doubt other dishes should be tried!

**Food:** 5/5 We ordered the Plov and Lamb Chop, and both dishes were truly outstanding. The Plov was rich and flavorful, with tender rice infused with spices, slow-cooked lamb, and vegetables, offering a perfect balance of savory and fragrant notes. The Lamb Chop was cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, making every bite a pleasure. **Service:** 5/5 The service at Chaykhana N1 was impeccable. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience by making sure we had everything we needed. **Ambiance:** 5/5 The restaurant's ambiance had a cozy, authentic feel that transported us to Uzbekistan. With traditional décor and a warm, relaxed setting, it was the ideal backdrop for a meal that felt both homey and special. **Price:** 5/5 For the quality of food and service, the pricing was fair and reasonable. We left satisfied, feeling that the meal was worth every penny.

What a hidden gem! This was recommended by local Chinese folks and it did not disappoint. Located in a strip mall in West Chester - parking was easy. We ordered the beef soup, samsa, steam bum, kebab and plov - everything was so flavorful and delicious. The plov is definitely my favorite and it had a good amount of protein in it. Same for the samsa and steam bum - all are very good value for decent quality of food. Interior was clean and organized. The servers were very nice as well. Will have to come back and try their homemade dessert.

Tired of the same old-same old? Ready for something DIFFERENT?? Here you will find an interesting, UNIQUE, and definitely FAR from the ordinary dining experience!! I gave myself an "assignment" at the beginning of this year to try at least one meal (either cooking it myself or in a restaurant) from around the globe, A-Z. Now, as I get close to the end of the alphabet, my time, mojo, and willingness to hunt for "oddball" ingredients seems to be slipping, so I've been going out to eat. "U" came around a few weeks ago, and I might have googled a few recipes from Uganda, but it looked to me like Uzbekistan was going to be a challenge. Once again, my two good friends, Google and Yelp helped lead me in the right direction and I found this wonderful, waaaaaaaay off the beaten path (for me, at least...) spot to sample some wonderful Uzbek delicacies. Be sure to come hungry and be willing to try a little bit of everything. Uzbek food is a wonderful blend of some of your favorite Middle Eastern and Eastern European delicacies... Definitely something for everyone, and fun to share!! We shared a dumpling platter, an order of some the best samsa (samosa-like, but better!!) and I also got a bowl of fresh, hot, veggie filled borscht. My entree, chicken plov (pilaf-like, with tons of flavor!!) was good, but I almost wished we had ordered more appetizers/small plates instead. I just LOVE feeling like I'm "traveling the world" without a passport, and there are few better ways to do that than to experience a hearty, authentic, well-made "ethnic" meal. There were TONS of "native" Uzbeks here on a Friday night, and if they're happy here, so am I.

A hidden gem! Unlike any food I've ever had before. The lagman soup and the samsa were delicious! The flavors are so unique. The service was a little slow and there was a bit of a language barrier but our waiter was sure to answer any questions we had about the menu. Will definitely be back for more!
